REVIEW: Topshop Cream Blushers

I'm going through a bit of a cream blusher obsession this summer! I have combination skin (oily t-zone, dry cheeks) which means that powder blushers can look very cakey on me, especially under bright lights and sunshine. Last weekend I picked up these two cream blushers from Topshop after getting so many recommendations. Weirdly, there aren't many cream blusher options within drugstore brands and the ones that are around have limited shades, most which are too light for my skin tone.

Topshop has a really good range of colours for the blushers, so much so that I ended up getting two!
There's Afternoon Tea, a rosey pink, which is great for achieving a more natural flush, and Prime Time, a deep, dolly pink which gives a more intense, punchier dose of colour.

Of the two, I've worn Afternoon Tea more because it's a lot easier to wear during the day, but Prime Time would look UH-MAZING on darker skin! Both have amazing pigmentation, especially for a mid-range brand, so you'll need a light hand when applying.

The Topshop Cream Blushers are £8 each and can be found in most Topshop stores.

What do you think of cream blushers? Has anyone tried the Topshop range?

  1. These look a bright for what I usually go for but I'm really getting into my cream blushes since I got my crown stippling brush at IMATS :)

  2. I've never tried a cream blush and I really want to go cos I read it's best suited for dry skin sufferers. I really want to try the Illasmaqua ones too xx

  3. Being a dry skin sufferer I love cream and liquid makeup. These look great and I can't wait to check them out next time I'm in Topshop. I absolutely love the Stila Color Convertibles but at twice the price they may have some new competition soon ;o) Sheen xxx

  4. Yeah - I haven't tried much Stila makeup yet.... not keen on the look of the brand xx
